2. To further the application of scientific research in finding intelligent short and long-term solutions for the joint use of resources and habitat by humans and animals.
3. To establish and implement educational programs that promote environmental/ecological stewardship.
4. To improve coordination among non-governmental organizations and public trust agencies and to provide expertise, guidance,and leadership, especially to state, federal, and local agencies responsible for environmental accountability.
